great value for money & all pink!! February 28, 2006 177 out of 179 found this review helpful
Despite what a lot of people have written about this pack, I do think it's well worth the money. I love that I can have all matching pink accessories for my pink DS!The travel power pack is such a great & useful idea that it's almost worth buying this pack just for it! It's small, easy to use & even has a clip to attach it to your belt or bag. The earphones work suprisingly well for the overall price. You can't hear the DS when they're plugged in so they stop you from annoying people on the train etc when you're playing. They also have a volume control on them which is handy. The screen protectors have been given a lot of flack by reviewers; but I've got the touch screen one on my DS and am very pleased with it. It wasn't hard to get it on smooth and you can't tell it's there. I'd only had my DS a day when it got it's first scratch so I think it's a good idea to protect it. It doesn't stop the stylus from working either. The game cases are not perfect. They are a little hard to open the first few times and you have to put stickers on them to tell what game's inside. But they are essential if you want to take your DS out of the house. The case has just enough space to fit the console, cases, spare stylus', cloth & earphones - all that you really need to take out with you. It also has a thin strap. Perhaps it could all do with being a bit sturdier, but overall the case does the job. The screen cloth is very useful for cleaning & nice & small. I'm not entirely sure why they include a second power adapter, but hey, it doesn't do any harm to have a spare - you can always leave it somewhere you are likely to need it (work, parents house etc). And you get a car adapter too (I haven't used this yet). All in all, very good value.

There are pros and cons to this pack; to start off with, the headphones are pretty good given what you're using them for, and they come with an inline volume control which is handy. The games cases are useful; you get four individual DS game cases, and a larger case which should fit two DS games and two GBA games. (I cannot confirm the latter as I have yet to purchase GBA games.) The plastic cases are not the best quality in the world, but they're robust enough to handle a bit of scuffing. They *are* a bit difficult to open though, but I have to say, using the wide end of the stylus (with the lanyard slot) as a "key" tends to pop them open quite easily. A common gripe is that the stylus pens get stuck in the console - this is correct, and it requires a lot of force to remove them again. There *is* a workaround though; you can use a common nail file/emery board (or even some fine glass paper for you macho men out there) to gently rub down the 'nub' on the side of the stylus. If you do it right, the stylus will still 'catch' when you store it in the slot, but won't fall out of its own accord. (Just don't over-file it!) It is obvious that the pens are made of an inferior material, so I would advise being a little more careful when using them. I have not yet tried the screen protectors, and judging by the reviews here, I shouldn't bother. I have heard that using these types of protector invalidates your warranty, so I'm even more loath to do it now. (Apologies if I am wrong.) The case in itself is pretty good - as long as you're happy transporting the DS and not much else. The four small DS game cases that are included will also fit, as will a stylus or two, and the headphones (with a bit of jiggling), but it will be a bit squashed. The redeeming part of this pack is the mobile charger. I do a lot of travelling, and I'm not always able to charge my DS on the go; with the mobile charger I always have enough battery life to finish what I'm doing and save it before I lose my data. I haven't timed how long it lasted, but each time I've used it I've been playing as I charged, and it still lasted a fair amount of time. It's also handy to get both an in-car charger (in pink) and a spare mains charger with this kit, just to keep as a backup or in a different location if you travel around a lot. Overall, I'd say that while I was disappointed with some parts of this pack, on the whole I was happy with it and would not consider it to be a waste of money; between the main case, the headphones and the spare chargers, I'd say this was well worth it.
Looks good, but... February 4, 2006 36 out of 49 found this review helpful
as others have mentioned, the pens get stuck in the console so you can't use them as replacements without the risk of never getting them out, the case doesn't hold the console without quite a lot of force (and certainly not if you want to put games in too), but my biggest gripe is the mobile power pack, which has stopped holding a charge after 2 recharges - it's now just a pink paperweight on my desk. I just use the game cases and the extra mains recharger now, so not really worth the money.
You get what you pay for January 29, 2006 30 out of 37 found this review helpful
....and that is certainly true with this accessory pack, the quality is very poor, the holding case isn't nearly big enough, the cheap plastic cases for the carts are really stiff which isn't good when they are made from the smallest most flimsey plastic mold so are very likely to break. Don't even attempt to try and put the stylus in the consoles built in holder because mine didn't fit properly and got stuck. I think my biggest issue is with the "screen protectors" as they don't fit the screen properly, leave awful stick residue and more anoyingly when you apply it to the touch screen as instructed the touch screen stops responding. Even the cloth isn't that great at cleaning the screen, i've taken to just using the one that came with my psp! About the only good thing in this pack is the battery, i can't fault the battery it works as it should and nicely clips on to you clothing or whatever you chose to clip it on to and is very convienent. As a summary, if you adament to get pink accessories to match you console and you want those accessories to be of at least a reasonable quality you might want to wait for another company to bring a set cause i wish i had!

What you want to know about is the product i have a nintendo ds pink and this product is great as it matches the colour perfectly instead of buying the plain nasty black ones. all the accesories are amazing and i have fallen in love with it completely. i would recommenend anyone considering to buy this item to do so as it is great value for money and is well worth it.
