Waste of Time and Money February 1, 2006 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought RaPiz for my daughter's PSP through Amazon. I found the whole program very difficult to use. I am not a computer expert, but have been more than able to use any other software I have bought. RaPiz doesn't explain how to identify the files you need to convert. Furthermore, the program kept crashing. I referred to the on line help - but didn't find it very helpful! Thinking I must be particularly stupid, I asked several friends to try to convert a DVD for me and the best we managed to achieve was to transfer one file in French and a film trailer - not the main event! Since then I tried PSP Movie Creator on a free trial download and it was FAR easier to use. It costs more but then you get what you pay for. If you are thinking of buying software for your PSP, I would advise you to steer clear of RaPiz.
RaPiz PSP video convertor January 12, 2006 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
The software is not complex to use but I did find comverting DVDs for playback on my wonderful PSP was not what I was expecting - for some reason it wants one file to convert. It can be done but you need to go around the houses to get there...and it all takes time. I carried on doing my homework and found another piece of s/w which is absolutely amazing and so bought this one as it speeds up the whole process. You can even strip out trailers, titles etc to make the file smaller - PSP Movie Creator is the best I've found so far! Download a trial to see the quality - try before you buy is my tip for the day.
Am I the idiot? November 29, 2005 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
I just don't understand what everyone is going on about? I bought this product after reading all the recommendations about RaPiz PSP video Converter, coz the only thing I wanted to do was convert DVD's to watch on my PSP. Funnily, ripping a DVD is the only thing the software won't do. I have written for help to the menufacturer, and heard back nothing. So, all in all, I think it's a bad product that simply doesn't do what it says on the tin, plus you'll get no aftersales support to boot!

Ignore the naysayers - two thumbs up for Rapiz October 3, 2005 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
After using other movie conversion software for the PSP, it has to be said that Rapiz is by far the most user friendly and most effective at getting files to the right size and quality to fit on any Memory Stick Pro Duo. The website is well laid out and easy for anyone to understand - I don't know where the previous reviewer got those sample, badly translated sentences from as they don't appear on the Rapiz support website. An excellent, technically superb product with fantastic after-sales support, Rapiz is an absolute must buy for anyone looking to store videos on their shiny new PSP console.
