5 out of 5 stars Never get bored of this...   September 21, 2008
This is a must-have for any ipod. There are very few songs I skip past (Manics being the only one) and some really memorable covers - Willy Mason doing a George Michael's Careless Whisper! Who'd have thought...

Personal favourites are Jont's 'Number 1' (I will never tire of listening to this), Jamie T 'A New England', Rufus Wainwright 'Hallelujah', and Athlete's 'God Only Knows' which has made me discover the Beach Boys for the first time (i'm 27).

Excellent, chilled out album which I'll never get bored of...

5 out of 5 stars Spanking   January 16, 2008
Kermit O Dreary's pulled a cracker of a session album out of his Saturday satchel, which takes down Radio 1's trousers, gives it a good spanking, and then sits it on its knee to show how it should be done.

4 out of 5 stars Good but theres better out there   October 26, 2007
Don't get me wrong, its a good album but on the heels of the live lounge and the est 1967 it feels a bit second rate.

4 out of 5 stars Another great compilation   October 24, 2007
BBC Radio has been churning out some great music compilations this year and they are on to another winner with this one. Whoever devised the listings did a great job as the variety of music and artist are really good. Some of the less well known artists have produced some ofthe best tracks. I particularly like Camera Obscura (who?) and their brilliant version of Super Trooper - you don't get the depth of the lyrics on the original but you do here. Also love Zero 7's I Go To Sleep (and I'd never heard of them either). That's not to say that artists like Lily Allen, Jamie T, don't put in great, and clever covers and the album's worth buying simply for Massive Attack's beautiful, beautiful live version of Live With Me.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic, varied, refreshing...just so good!   August 29, 2007

I ordered this to stick on my IPod for my holiday as I've already got Radio 1's Live Lounge and love it. My favourite tracks are On Call (Kings of Leon) and the fabulous cover of Goldfrapp's Number One by Jont. Really set the soundtrack for my holiday. Buy it if you like something a little different and like to be presently suprised by music you didn't think you'd like.
