3 out of 5 stars An okay piece of kit...   November 20, 2008
I've been using a PSP since they first came out in 2005 so have got used to moving stuff to and from the PSP and my PCs. To the novice its not always straight forward but Sony do provide enough info in the PSP pack and on their website to explain how to do it.

This piece of software tries to provide a friendly interface from your PC to your PSP. I was suprised how long it took to install and I'm always a bit dubious as you have to wonder how much stuff is being installed on the PC. Anyway after a while it installed fine and I opened the new EXE on my desktop.

The interface to the software looks very Sony in terms of the icons and font used. You plug in your PSP via a USB cable and its contents appear within the software, broken down into music, photos, movies et al. From here its then a case of dragging and dropping files between the PSP and the PC in a Windows Explorer type of scenario. Its good in that everything is tidy and in its place but apart from that I'm not sure what other benefit it gives. Anyone who has been using a PSP will know how to move/delete/copy files so I can only recommend this to total novices or even those who are struggling to work with their PSP.

4 out of 5 stars the greatest thing for the Psp.   November 17, 2008
This does what it says on the box. It's a media manager which allows and condenses big media folders to neatly fit on your Psp. For starters you can strink a movie to mp4 format and "burn" it on your Psp as easy as that. I have The Crow on mine and the picture is great. Just like having your own UMD with the film on. Now provided you have 1. the movie you want to downgrade and shrink and 2. you have the ideal or maximum GB on your Psp memory card then you should be able to fit at least five films which you can watch whenever you like without carting around a DVD player and a TV, it's all right there on your Psp. Plus also it does your snaps and turns them into wallpaper and yes even your music that you have on your windows media is downsized at put onto your Psp without losing its flow or sound. A great piece of kit for the discerning Psp owner.

Great software in one package that is easy to install and use. All your games, movies, music etc., in one place, makes life much easier! Recommended.

4 out of 5 stars iTunes for the PSP, an all in one manager for the PSP   October 6, 2008
The PSP is a great device, just like the iPod. However it lacks a management tool like iTunes; that is what this appliction provides, a simple straight forward way to add files to your PSP and mange the contents of your memory sticks.

The media encoding works perfectly and can convert all your Movies so you can watch them on the PSP, MP3s are seamlessly converted. You will probably want to get several large Memory sticks to store everything.

Whilst there is currenly no mac version (not that this particularly bothers me), this version works perfectly well on both Windows XP and Vista as well as with both 32 and 64 bit versions of these OS's.
