This software is great. In comparison to Pinnacle Studio, you can add all your pictures at the same time, rather than adding them one by one, and then you can transition effects in the click of a button rather than adding them one by one. You can change the length of time the picture appears on the screen in the click of one button, rather than one at a time.
Overall, this software is far less time consuming than Pinnacle, and gives great results.

I have used DVD Movie factory up to version 4 and it is great. I have tried the trial version of this one and it dosn't have all the templates that previous versions have. Tried to find out about this from the Corel web site (Ulead's new owners) and just went round and round in circles. They CLAIM you can e-mail them - but try to find how. There are some fancy new features in this version of DVDMF but changes are mostly down to being able to burn to Blu Ray and HDV burners. With the high cost of those (not to mention media - and problems with HDTV etc) how many people are going to need this feature? I have yet to hear of anyone who has actually purchased a Blu Ray or HDV DVD burner so this feature is practically usless for 99% of current users.
Sorry - but with features (templates etc) taken out and features built in that few people can use it is hardly worth the while to upgrade or purchase this. For the money go for Pinnacle Studio 11 ultimate (Fantastic price on Amazon) This gives excelent video editing AND good DVD authoring as well. Much better value for your money
Fatal Error during installation July 2, 2007

This software does not work. Everytime I tried to install it, halfway through it comes up with "A fatal error occurred during installation". Having looked at other consumer reviews on the Ulead website, it appears that nearly everyone else has had the same problem. I have sent mine back as a "defective product." Don't waste your money. Everyone I have spoken to recommends Nero.
