IXUS 85 IS November 19, 2008 You used to get a case with IXUS cameras, but I have just bought a new 85IS without one in the box. This case is perfect for my camera, a real Canon case that fits my camera as well as you would expect.
I had my doubts about how it could be so much cheaper than sold in the shops, but I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. It doesn't say IXUS 85 IS on the advert, but it does on the packaging.
It has to be 5 stars for price and for fit for my camera
Safe and snug but not too tight November 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well the DCC-60 camera case does exactly what its made for. Ignore all the other reviews about it being too tight for the Canon Ixus 80 IS. Yes it is snug but it certainly isn't too tight. Ok it could have had a little pocket for a spare memory card but surely you can keep a spare card in its little plastic case in your pocket serarately........ alternativly, buy the biggest SDHC card you can afford ! I would 100% recommend anyone buying this for their Ixus 80
Very good November 1, 2008 If I were you I wouldn't be put off by the negative things pointed out in previous reviews. I use this for an IXUS 85 IS and the camera fits snugly inside, I don't have any problems with the camera going accidentally into video made. It looks nice, has a good leathery feel and the magnetic button is satisfying. It is true that an extra pouch for a spare SD card would have been useful, but I'm yet to have any issues with this product.
Canon Ixus 80/82 Case October 15, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought this for my Canon Ixus 80/82 camera and it's perfect. So don't be put off by those saying it's too small. I suppose it depends which camera you are buying it for!
I Rest My Case September 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well what can you say about a camera case? Judging by the amount of reviews, quite a bit really. Too many can be quite confusing I think. Anyway... I've just bought a current model Canon digital camera (the Ixus 80iS) and this case to put it in. Others have mentioned a tight fit and indeed this camera is. But it DOES go in and, hopefully, it might loosen up a tad. No space for memory cards (but with the big SD cards available, I don't need that) No space for spare battery (OK, could be a problem, but this is not an equipment case, purely one to protect the camera) And "that belt loop" (nah, I won't use that either. But its not obtrusive)
4stars purely because its a tight fit and the leather's stiff. A good and smart case though.
