 Excellent and comfortable gun!!! December 3, 2008
I bought two of these guns a week ago with House of the Dead 2/3 and Ghost Squad and would recommend this. Alligning the gun with the screen exactly is impossible, however this is not to do with the gun but the remote sensor bar! i recall even the old light guns in arcades were not precise.
The gun has a comfortable feel and for these types of games is perfect. I also tested this with wii play duck hunt and it works really well.
much better than the wii zapper! would highly recommend!
 Useless for Resident Evil 4! November 23, 2008
Do not buy this gun if you intend to use it with Resident Evil 4. To shoot on this game you need to press A button but your holding the gun in one hand and a nunchuck in the other so you've got no chance really. The gun is basically acting as a holder for the Wii remote! The gun itself is not a bad product just make sure its compatible with the game your buying it for.
Doesn't do what I want it to do November 16, 2008
I'm not quite sure whether I have a different gun to everyone else but when I played resident evil 4 with this you can aim and target a "baddie" but you still have to press A to shoot which is at the top of the gun. Bearing in mind you have the numchuck in your left hand and your gun in your right you need 3 hands to use this. I did try and change the controller setting because I thought I might have missed something but I couldn't seem to get the gun to aim and fire. If there is a secret that I have missed please let me know and I will change my rating but for the time being it is absolutely no use to me at all !! I've very disappointed :(

Venom light blaster NOT .I was disappointed when they arrived as they were big ben interactive guns. i bought two of them from timestrobe and there was no mention they were NOT AVenom Light Blaster Gun (Wii) . It does however look the same as the venom but i cant be 100 % sure.It does seem to work well with ghost squad. I dont think its fair that its advertised as one thing and its not.

Venom Light Blaster Gun (Wii)
By far the best light gun for the Wii. The controller feels very solid with the Wii remote inside. I have used this with the following games so far:
Resident Evil Wii Edition
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles
House of the Dead 2 & 3
The gun works great will all three light gun games. The nunchuk works on RE Wii Edition too, although nunchuk is not required for the other two. Another review says the aim is off. I dont understand that comment as you are not aiming down the gunsight as there is always a cross-hair on the screen.
Been very pleased with this product and bought two of them. Multiplayer HOTD2&3 is fantastic as is RE Umbrella Chronicles.
Highly recommended.
