  Handy For 4-Player Frantic Games! And There Is Nothing New! January 30, 2007

When I got my Nintendo 64 for Christmas in 2000, it was packed with 2 free Gold Controllers, but I also had a Blue Nintendo 64 Controller boxed! Now oddly enough, even though Gold is shiny, bright, sparkling and the controller everybody wanted, I was using the Blue Controller more frequently than any other controller (it is actually more used than the other controllers).
But it wasn't until August 2004, when I got hold of the Black Nintendo 64 Controller, and to tell you the truth, among all 4 controllers, there is no difference whatsoever! So you can have the same joy with those 4-Player games such as Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, Super Smash Bros etc!
But like I said about the Blue Controller in a separate review, I do find the Nintendo 64 controller a little bit of a nuisance as holding points for the controller are difficult. Although once you know where to position you're hands, happy days!
My Grade For The Controller: 7.5/10 - Great, Entertaining, Challenging!
Final Comments: Remember you're finger positioning on controllers and if you're uncomfortable, hold it in a more satisfying position or get a alternative controller.

The N64 controller lets you take control of some of the most powerful games on the planet. With all the buttons within easy reach and a comfortable feel, it's one of the easiest-to-use controllers you can buy. Don't let the Playstation and Dreamcast owners fool you - their controllers are not half as good. Buy a N64 controller and you wont be sorry.
